This is the only Careline product that does not require a prescription from a veterinarian, although we do recommend you seek a veterinarian's advice to make sure your bird is not feather picking for more serious reasons or causes.

This diet is formulated exclusively from rice products, vitamins and minerals. It may provide relief for birds that are feather picking/ self-mutilating from allergies to food items other than rice.
