The Adventure Pack Pet Carrier™ - is a light-weight backpack AND stand-alone cage that is perfect for all birds and parrots from Cockatoo to Parrotlet.

The new Advenure Packs are on their way! We have made several updates and improvements to this bird carrier, which include:

Don't be fooled by our competition!
Nylon and Stainless Steel mesh do not allow your bird to climb around or hang upside down as they do in their natural or home environment. In addition, the Mesh material does not provide adequate support while traveling in a vehicle. If your bird were seat belted into a vehicle by a mesh carrier, it is possible it would collapse upon impact if there were an accident. The Adventure Pack is incredibly sturdy and is designed just like your birds cage at home. It also provides familiar surroundings when out of their home to add to their overall comfort level while traveling. Plus, the nylon and SS mesh do not allow for a proper view when inside the pack.

If you love your bird and can't stand leaving your little friend home while you are out but want the best bang for you buck this is the product you need. My bird Silas, a blue headed pionus, is often skeptical but he was quick to warm up to his traveling palace. It offers all the luxuries of home with enough storage space for his food, toys, harness, and treats. At first I carried the pack in my arms because I was afraid I would bounce around too much with him on my back and he would get hurt...but he got heavy and I wore it like a backpack. On our very first try (with many people behind us to assure me he was doing fine) he went about his business; eating, drinking, playing, and even sleeping. I live on the coast and have often had to unroll the flaps to protect him from sudden cold wind and fog when at the beach. It is a great feature. Lastly, The door faces your back and can be latched and then covered by zipping the padded back flap. It offers real peace of mind to know your friend can't imitate Houdini while your back is turned no matter how much of a genius escape artist he may be! It's cute, practical, safe, and fun.

We ordered the Aventure Pack Bird Carrier for our Brown-headed Parrot, Pippi. We took him on a road trip to Chicago, to a cabin in Michigan, and to Milwaukee. We are so happy with how well the cage worked out for traveling. The cover kept his mess inside the cage and not on our car seats. The door on the cage is large enough to allow easy access - many small cages we looked at when deciding to which one to purchase had very small doors. With the cover in place you can't even tell that it is a bird cage - we even took him into a few stores with us rather than having one of us wait in the car with him - nobody even noticed him. Although we weren't sure how he would react to being in a small cage, Pippi loves this cage. In addition to using it as a travel cage, we now use it as his sleeping cage. The cover helps to protect him from drafty air during the night.

This is the only travel cage/birdy backpack I would ever have and I have two! The bird is so safe and secure in the adventure pack. No fear of nasty zinc poisoning with the Stainless Steel bars. The bird can climb and hang, and have fun.
Both of our Greys, our Nanday, our Eclectus, and the Cockatiel love the Adventure Pack. I love how I can carry on my back or better yet, have it on my chest I can take off the top bag and see the bird. I always know how they are handling everything. For my scaredy bird, Fiona a Grey, I can wrap my arms around it and put my hands over the front window so she can see I am between her and the scary stuff. That and talking to her through the top window makes her feel safe and happy.
If it is cold and windy or even too sunny you can roll down the sides or front and block the elements from the bird.
It is a wonderfully designed "adventure" backpack!
